For nearly a year, Kiki has supported work done by The Women's Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation in the area of girls' leadership. Both The Women's Fund and Kiki magazine want to support schools in their efforts to create programs and opportunities for girls to flex their leadership muscles, so in 2010, together, we are making available a total of 10 grants of $1,500 each to educators who create a program to develop girls' leadership skills.
Five grants will be offered by The Women's Fund to applicants located in the eight-county region around Greater Cincinnati; and five grants will be offered by Kiki for all other U.S. counties. Winning programs will become part of a toolkit created by educators for educators and made available to schools across the country.
